Se-Gi Vented Windows Recalled From Foretravel Motorcoaches

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall for 2007-2011 Foretravel/Nimbus and 2007-2010 Foretravel/Phenix motorcoaches. Some of the Se-Gi vented windows in these motor coaches have experienced an issue where the adhesive bond on some panels between the glass portion and the hinge may de-bond, allowing the panel to detach and fall from the vehicle. If this happened it could cause personal injury or lead to a vehicle accident.

A Toronto teacher who confronted vandals throwing eggs at his home was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle, police say. Smith said police are asking people and the auto glass industry to be on the lookout for any minivans with fresh front-end damage and broken tinted glass anywhere on the vehicle.

Attendees exploring CES 2012 earlier this month traveling through the automotive section of the convention would have had a difficult time not at least glimpsing the Mercedez-Benz DICE Interior Concept. While the dashboard shows off menus that included media, social, and places, each of them able to control what you’re hearing and seeing around you, who you’re contacting from the vehicle, and mapping where you want to go, it was the windshield that really showed off the state of the future.

The Gilbertsville woman who allegedly struck and killed a 26-year-old woman on Township Line Road in Upper Providence and left the scene April 27 told investigators she “felt a bump” but didn’t stop, even after noticing damage to the passenger side windshield area of her vehicle, according to court documents.
