Pittsburgh Glass Works (PGW) announced this afternoon that it will close its auto glass fabrication facility in Hawkesbury, Ontario, during the first quarter of 2010. The company cites the continued decline of North American automotive manufacturing and “the unprecedented and radical restructuring of the automotive industry” as the reason for the closure.
