PGW Files Interlocutory Appeal with Court to Re-Visit Conditional Certification

Pittsburgh Glass Works (PGW) has filed documents with the Western District Court of Pennsylvania to take a second look at the plaintiffs’ conditional certification. In early May, the court granted class certification to former employees of PGW in a discrimination suit filed against the company.

Freeman Appeals Case Against PGW Based on Alleged Bias of Arbitrator

A former employee for Pittsburgh Glass Works (PGW) has appealed the 2010 decision in his age discrimination case against the company. James Freeman alleges that “without notice or warning on July 19, 2008, at the age of 60, [he] was told by his supervisor … ‘that his position was being eliminated,’” and that when he questioned whether it had to do with his age, he was told, “You can figure it out.”

PGW Former Employees Granted Class Certification in Discrimination Case Against PGW

The U.S. District Court of Western Pennsylvania has granted class certification to the former employees in a discrimination suit filed against Pittsburgh Glass Works (PGW). In addition, the court denied PGW’s motion for summary judgment.

The Mini Connected system brings Web-connected services and Pandora to the 2012 Mini Cooper Coupe John Cooper Works’ dashboard via iPhone. The Coupe features a severely raked windshield that transitions into a low roof that ends with an integrated spoiler. The roof spoiler catches air passing over the roof and redirects it over the sloping windshield and onto the short rear deck that hides yet a second spoiler.
